To Mallorca? In the winter?
This question can be answered with a very clear YES.
The winter season starts in Mallorca in November and ends in March. The coldest months are December, January and February. Temperatures during this time are 15º C during the day and 6º-8º C during the night. By 2018, December was sometimes so warm that winter clothing became superfluous. Temperatures of 22ºC were reached. Ideal for a round of golf, long hikes and walks by the sea or exploring the island by bike or car - or just to drink a coffee or a vino on one of the sunny outdoor terraces.
In the tourist centers, most hotels and restaurants are closed during the winter months. Palma, the capital of Majorca, however, offers a lot of variety, both culinary, cultural or shopping. From the 7th of January the winter sales start and the prices are reduced by up to 50%.
Tourist streams stay out. Sights of the city and island can be visited in peace. The beautiful boutique hotels offer reduced room rates for luxurious living.
For golfers paradise opens - all courses are open and can be played without waiting and crowds at a reduced green fee.
Regular air connections, also at reduced prices, are offered by Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
MALLORCA IS ALWAYS ONE TRIP - even in winter.
Many owners of holiday homes come preferably in the winter months to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Mallorca at pleasant temperatures.
